South Hills Village is a 2-story mall and shopping area, with 133 different stores including some of the top brands and a prime shopping location in Pittsburgh, PA area. Among the local shops are Macy’s (formerly Lazarus and Horne’s), Sears, and Boscov’s (formerly Kaufmann’s, originally occupied by Gimbel’s), Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, American Eagle Outfitters, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister Co., Aeropostale, J. Crew, Lucky Brand Jeans, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Eat ‘N Park, Carmike 10 Theater, National City Bank, and Barnes & Noble Bookstore and an Apple Computer store. The mall also houses a food court with 14 different food places with various foods available and a 10 screen movie theatre.

South Hills Village Mall was developed by Oxford Development Company in 1965 and used to be the largest in US till 1969. It’s currently owned by Simon Property Group and the total area is over 900,000 sq feet.
The Village is conveniently located just 7.5 miles south of Pittsburgh at the corner of Rt. 19 and Fort Couch Road in the municipalities of Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair. The mall is easily accessible via the PAT Bus and the PAT Light Rail Transit System or “T.”
South Hills Village Parking Garage
The South Hills Village Parking Garage is located at Fort Couch Road and Village Drive across from the South Hills Village Mall in Bethel Park, PA. With 2,200 spaces, it brings the total to 5,819 park and ride spaces along the T. That number is expected to increase as enhancements to service and efficiency and future capital improvements such as the North Shore Connector, are implemented. There are approximately seven acres of prime real estate available for development at this location.
The South Hills Village Garage is one of three parking facilities constructed by the Authority as part of the Stage II Light Rail Transit Project. Stage II includes the reconstruction and modernization of the Overbrook Line; expansion of park and ride lot spaces; modernization and expansion of the Operations Control Center; installation of improved overhead wire and power system and new cab signals and gated crossings.
The parking rates start at just $2 a day.
